Help fund your favorite Microfundo Artist and earn Campaign Rewards

Here’s how it works:

Artists may not always be the best self promoters and they need fans like you to champion their cause. Let us set up Microfundo Champion Profile for you on Microfundo. You’ll help your favorite artist reach their campaign goal and you’ll earn Microfundo Campaign Rewards based on the amount of funding you raise.

Let’s say you are a really big fan of Argentine Singer Sofia Rei, and you really like the idea of her microfunding level called ‘Night out in New York’.

You might really want the dinner and carriage ride with Sofia but not be in the well-heeled position to come up with all the money yourself. But you think Sofia and her music is the greatest so you get your Microfundo Champion profile set up and start inviting your friends to microfund $25 each for Sofia’s project. And some of them do and they get a signed CD and some of them microfund $100 and they get their name on the new album liner notes, but one of them (’cause you know this really rich guy) sponsors a song for $3,000 and he gets his name next to one of Sofia’s songs ~ and voila! You get your carriage ride!!!

Or let’s say you just want to help a little. So, you set up a Champion Profile, pick an artist project and get 4 friends to microfund $25 each. Your friends each get a signed CD and multiple Microfundo downloads ~ and you get the same thing plus your name in your artist’s new album liner notes!! We have over 1,000 members on Microfundo now. Whatever amount you help raise you will receive the corresponding funding level reward.

If every member becomes a Champion and raises just $100 for the artist of their choice ~ You would all together microfund over $100,000!!

Here are the steps to becoming a Champion:

1. Browse the Microfundo Artist Projects and pick your favorite artist.

2. Choose the microfunding amount you would like to help your artist raise based on the funding categories for your artist’s campaign.

3. Register on Microfundo >>

4. Add your profile picture and in the ‘about me’ section write, in your own words, a testimonial for the artist you are supporting.

5. Send an email to: microfundo (at) gmail (dot) com with the following information:

~ The Artist you’ve chosen to champion

~ The funding level you’re setting as your goal to raise.

~ Your profile page Username and Password log-in

6. We will add the artist campaign description and a funding widget that will let people microfund from your page and will keep track of your microfunding progress.

Once your Microfundo Champion profile is complete you can tell all your friends and family to help support your artist campaign ~ and send them to your Champion Profile page to make their contribution. You can wax romantic about their music and explain how they can select from several funding levels and what they will receive in return. You can give each person far more personal attention than the artist would be able to.
